A licensed mental health counselor in Washington since 2001, I supervise counselors seeking licensure, and counsel via Telehealth. Also, I work with some companies who offer employee assistance counseling (EAP): Anthem & FCH plus others.
As a mental health counselor, I use an eclectic integrative approach, which includes your spiritual health and well-being, if that is important to you.
- “Integrative” usually means I combine different approaches and selectively apply appropriate techniques to best fit your individual needs.
- As a Biblical & Licensed mental health counselor, the spiritual element does not come into play unless requested by you the client.
- I tend to be quite flexible and creative in the use of theories and techniques.to understand and help with the same issue by offering different perspectives because there is no one “right” way to counsel.
- Because of problems associated with Covid, I no longer have an office, and counsel exclusively from home using Telehealth.
I charge $180 per session as of January 2022. Some pro Bono may be available. Please ask.
Online video counseling requires all Paperwork be completed and returned prior to the first session, and your copay has been paid.
Here's how telehealth works:
I use "Doxy.me," so on the scheduled day I will send you an email and/or message link to connect to https://doxy.me/brandym7
You will then be placed in a 'waiting room' from which I will join you shortly.
I offer many helpful resources, generally at no cost to you. These include booklets and brochures, and other educational information you may find useful.
